NorthArt Membership

NorthArt is a registered charity and not-for-profit public art gallery funded by Kaipātiki Local Board, The Lion Foundation and Birkenhead Licensing Trust. The gallery relies on our loyal members and volunteers to meet our operational requirements.

Benefits of Membership at NorthArt

  • Becoming a NorthArt member gives you the opportunity to exhibit during the annual NorthArt Members Shows.
  • NorthArt members are also entitled to a 10% discount at NorthArt Objects including art magazines.
  • Regular members-only email newsletters.
  • Invitations to the opening functions of all exhibition openings and other special events.
  • Early notice about classes and workshops.
  • Member discounts at our Artist-Led and professional development workshops.

Membership Application

Becoming a Member is a great way to be involved in our organisation. Membership applications are considered and confirmed by the committee of the Northart Society. Once confirmed an invoice will be provided to for payment.

The current annual membership fee is $40.00, new members are offered a first-year fee of $20.00  and are subject to annual review at the AGM.

    Privacy Statement

    The NorthArt Society Incorporated collects the information provided to process your membership application, maintain the Register of Members required under the Incorporated Societies Act 2022 and the Society's Constitution, and communicate with you about Society matters, including General Meetings.

    Your name, contact details and membership commencement date are recorded in the Register of Members. If you cease to be a member, the Society is required to retain your name and cessation date for seven years. Your application is retained as a record of your consent to membership.
